Bark Beetle Trap Kit

There are three bark beetle species affecting the apple trees: Xyleborus apicalis Blandford, Xylosandrus germanus Blandford, and Xyleborus minutus Blandford. Of these three species, Xylosandrus germanus beetles are the most abundant and damaging. They migrate to the apple orchards in early April ~ late April and bore into twigs, branches or trunk of apple trees. Serious attacks may result in tree death. It's very important to observe the migration time of bark beetles for effective control.
